Dedham Tennis Club Ground Rules - 2024
- Please do not play on courts that have not sufficiently dried following heavy rains
- If you leave footprints in the clay, it is too wet to play!
- All members and guests are required to wear suitable tennis attire, not necessarily white
- Shirts must be worn at all times
- Smooth soled tennis shoes must be worn
- No running or cleated shoes, “docksiders”, or bare feet
- All play areas, including the pickelball and backboard area, are to be used for play only
- All members and guests are expected to follow proper tennis etiquette and to be mindful of the Club’s neighbors
- Please sweep the courts and lines after you have finished play
- Nets should be left up and not lowered at the end of the day
- No gas, charcoal, or other cooking is allowed except for Club sanctioned events
- The Club closes at sundown
Dedham Tennis Club Guest Policy - 2024
- No guests may play without a member present
- The guest policy and reservation system includes the Pickleball court
- Each membership is allowed a maximum of 10 guest spots per season
- Guest fees are waived for 2024
- A guest is allowed to play no more than 2 times per month at the Club, regardless of being invited by different members
- No-Count Guest Hours (previously called Free Guest Hours)
- Monday - Friday from 8:00-11:00am, each member may bring up to 3 guests, one day a week, for play on courts 2, 3 & 4 and the Pickleball court
- Play during this time will not count against a member's 10 guest limit
- Guest names must be entered into YourCourts in order to complete the reservation
- The same guest may not play more than 2 times a month with any member
- The YourCourts system will be monitored to ensure information is complete
- Members are allowed 1 guest during primetime hours and up to 3 guests during non-primetime hours
- Primetime hours are all day Saturday, Sunday & Holidays and weekdays 4:30pm – 8:00pm
- Courts may be reserved for up to 120 minutes and guests may play for the entire reservation period
- Each membership is granted 6 free passes for immediate non-member family to play as guests
- These passes will not be counted against your 10 guests per season allotment
- Immediate family (not part of your family membership) is defined as spouse, sibling, parent, aged-out child
- The YourCourts system will be monitored to ensure information is complete
